Do you know which city is famous for the largest flower garden in the world? Dubai Miracle Garden can boast of this honorable title, even though it was created on the inhospitable sands of the desert. If during your stay in Dubai you dream of escaping the big city and having a bit of breath, there is no place more beautiful than this amazing flower garden.
Miracle Garden – How to reach it
To get there, go to the Mall of the Emirates metro station. It is a red line station. Right after leaving the metro, in front of the shopping mall, there is a small bus terminus. This is the only place from which you can go to Miracle Garden. Bus number 105 departs from the last platform, farthest from the subway exit. From the same stop, we will get to another tourist attraction in Dubai – Global Village. The cost of a one-way trip is 5 AED. Unfortunately, this journey is not included in the price of the weekly ticket. So remember to have funds in your purse, especially since there is no ticket machine by the flower garden.
According to the timetable, the bus takes 15-20 minutes. However, don’t let this deceive you when planning your trip. There are a lot of traffic jams at the Mall of the Emirates, buses are often late. Once they are on the road leading to the gardens, the ride is fast and efficient, but at the beginning, they can waste a lot of time. So don’t be nervous on your way back if the bus doesn’t show up at the stop at the specified time. You just have to wait. The bus doesn’t stop anywhere along the way, the garden is its only stop. The second, more expensive option is a taxi. They stand both in front of the Mall of the Emirates and in Miracle Garden, so there is no problem with catching them.
When is the best time for a visit?
The park is open only for 6 months every year, since November. Despite intensive care and watering, it is too hot in summer for the plants to survive. It opens at 9:00 AM every day and closes at 9:00 PM Sunday to Thursday, at 11:00 PM on Fridays, and at 10:00 PM on Saturdays.
Tip: Remember that weekend in Dubai is Friday and Saturday. The Garden is the most crowded then. If we have a chance to choose, try to select working days.
The cost of the admission ticket is AED 55 for people over 12 years of age and AED 40 for children over 3 years of age. Children up to 3 years of age are exempt from paying the fee.
The garden is an incredibly romantic place. I recommend Miracle Garden as a place for wedding and engagement sessions. It stuns not only flower lovers. In the first moments, you are not sure what to look at first. Importantly, there are free toilets, areas where you can eat and drink something, as well as numerous benches and gazebos. It is, therefore, a great place to spend the whole day if you want to relax, have a family picnic, relaxing with the sound of fountains. If we have a limited time for sightseeing, it is worth stopping by for at least a few hours.
The garden is tidy, all the plants are well-kept. You can see the effect of the great work that has been put into it to create a place that will delight tourists from all over the world despite unfavorable weather conditions. You can find the official website of the garden here.
There is another amazing attraction next to the Miracle Garden. However, more about this in the next post.
